Why the bowlying speed of indian bowler is slow not crosses 90miles? Crossing 90 miles an hour in one or two deliveries is not the actual speed of the bowler. I do not see even a single Indian bowler who can bowl or bowls at 90 m/h. Body structure is not the reason. Munaf, Zaheer and Sree Santh are well built guys more or less 6 ft high. So body structure is good enough.
I see there are two things:
1. Will to bowl fast
2. Ability to bowl fast
You bowl fast when you find potential to get wickets which is very low on Indian pitches.
Ability to bowl fast develops when you strive day and day out. Indians never tend to bowl fast due to the obvious reason of slow pitches.
If India has to produce fast bowlers, BCCI would have to prepare a lot of fast pitches so that even in grooming stages, a fast bowler is prompted to strive for balls faster than 90 miles/hour.
Most of the fast bowlers like Bret Lee, Shoib Akhtar and Shane Bond are generally bowling at 90 miles ± 2 miles/h.
Indian bowler not willing to ball fast and also they are not mentally aggressive as other countries bowler. Another reason that our kids want to became sachin , rahul, dhoni etc but not Akhtar, Bretlee, Shane Bond
They concentrate more on line, length and swing bowling rather then fast bowling. You will not get wicket regularly unless you get to ball swing. Bowling fast on Indian piches is not very good idea.
It is meaning full or more result oriented on the fast and bouncy pitches
But i dont understand why Indian bowler ball fast out side the subcontinent
It doesn't mean that they doesn't ball fast .the following bowler can ball fast over 90 miles regularly. (their heighst bowling speed ever bowled)
Munaf(149Km/hr), Agarkar(145 Km/hr), Sreesanth ( 147 km/hr), zaheer(147 km/hr), Nehra(149 Km/hr), VRV Singh (143 km/hr)
